Creation Date June 2021

Art is freedom. Each creation is a free gesture in which experience, tradition and research come together. Starting from tradition, and unlike the real armors faithful to their time, the puppets can stimulate techniques and stylistic choices that respond to the creativity of the moment.
As the aretusean tradition wants, In this ORLANDO the face is in papier-mâché and painted to acrylic. The framework is made of pine and beech, while the armature is made of 5dm brass and chemically burnished. Just on the armor we find styles belonging to different periods in a temporal journey: the German Gothic style and baroque decorations embossed on stake and finished with chisel. The cloak, hand-painted.
To close the circle of a series of meanings, the Eagle of Syracuse towers over the helmet.
